ATM
There are three ATMs in the terminal; two Newcastle Permanent Building Society ATMs and a Greater Building Society ATM all clustered around the Internet kiosks next to the security screening point.
Disability Access Facilitation Plan
Newcastle Airport’s Disability Access Facilitation Plan outlines the services and facilities available for our customers (and their aides) who have special needs. The Access Facilitation Plan enables these passengers to travel as comfortably and hassle-free as possible.
Disabled parking
Dedicated disabled parking spaces are in a convenient location in the Platinum, Gold, and Silver Car Parks. These are clearly marked and are reserved for passengers with cars displaying a valid ‘disability’ card. A disabled pick-up area is located at the arrivals end of the terminal with a wheelchair ramp. The car must display a valid ‘disability’ card and the driver must stay with the vehicle at all times.
Internet kiosks
Customers can now check their email or surf the net at the two internet kiosk stations inside the terminal. The internet kiosks are located on the retail concourse, next to the atms. Passengers can also access the kiosk in the departure area, once they have passed through security. The internet kiosks are charged at $2 for 20 minute.
Parent’s room
A parent’s room is located within the amenities precinct in the terminal, next to Hungry Jacks. The room is equipped with baby change facilities, and a chair for nursing.
Smoking area
Smoking is not permitted inside the terminal, or within seven meters of an entry door. Newcastle Airport has provided designated outside smoking areas at either end of the terminal building.
Toilets
Toilets are located in the centre of the retail concourse, adjacent to Hungry Jacks and Insomnia café. As well as in the departures lounge, past the security screening point.
Trolleys
Baggage trolleys are available at the check-in and arrivals ends of the terminal at a charge of $3 per trolley. A 20c reward is provided when the trolley is returned to the trolley bay.
Transport
Conveniently located outside the arrivals area of the terminal, transport to and from the airport includes, buses, car rental, shuttle buses, and taxis. Please visit the Information Services desk, or call (02) 4928 9822 for more information on prices, bookings and timetables.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available upon request from your airline or by approaching a Newcastle Airport Operations staff member.
Wifi – FREE
Newcastle Airport provides free-of-charge wireless internet facilities throughout the terminal.
