Our brand new playground and large swing has finally arrived and been installed just in time for the school holidays. Thanks to Moduplay and the installation team we now have a fantastic playground for all ages as well as a huge net swing
The Retreat has a huge variety of business coming through and a lot of our business involves families on holidays, family groups and reunions, sporting clubs & school camps. Therefore to make the whole holiday experience one to never be forgotten we thought a playground that is bigger and better than the old one was required and here it is.
There is a great large shade structure over the main part of the playground which is great for the summer time keeping the equipment cool and the kids protected from the UV rays. Although this is not a totally waterproof covering it does keep most of the rain out and play area dry.
The large spider swing is large enough for a couple of kids at a time and big enough for the adults to get on as well. We have softfall mulch to help cushion any falls which is all fully certified.
Of course the playground is not the only activity for the kids while having your family friendly holidays NSW. The Retreat offers exclusive sand board hire to all our staying guests only. The have been built especially for The Retreat and they are really professional sandboards. Just a quick rub of wax and then you go off down the sand dunes for the ride of your life. The kids will love it and want to do it again and again. Sand board hire is for 1 hour and you just have to walk out the back of the property to the sand dunes which is a short 2 minute walk.
Another one of great onsite facilities to entertain the whole family or group is our games room. With pool tables and an extensive list of games and rules for the table there is a game to suit everyone. Also table tennis, Air hockey, pinball machine and arcade machine game. There is a TV and DVD player in the games room also for a movie night or to watch the current sporting events. Our games room is located next to the ever most popular swimming pool over the warmer months. This is definitely a part of the property that is used a lot with the kids in the pool and the parents with the kids or sitting by the pool relaxing on our sun loungers.
The Retreat has accommodation for Families in our Cabin and Bungalows. Group accommodation in The Ranch, The Lodge or The Duplexes. All of which are self contained with beds already made. Group building guests are required to bring along their own towels or they can be hired.
The Retreat offers great covered BBQ areas, campfires which are great areas to have a lovely BBQ dinner and then sit around the campfire toasting marshmallows. During the evenings the kids also love to walk around with their torches ready to go Possum spotting and if you are lucky you can spot the mother possums with the baby sitting on her back.
